Man found dead after shooting in Algonquin neighborhood

Louisville Metro police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Tuesday morning.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after a shooting Tuesday morning in the Algonquin neighborhood.

At about 3:30 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 1600 block of South 11th Street, according to an LMPD news release.

Officers on scene found a man who had been shot multiple times inside this location. He was pronounced dead on scene.

The coroner's office later identified him as 33-year-old Ramone Boyd.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling this investigation. There are currently no known suspects.
