LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Authorities said a man found shot inside a New Albany home was not a victim of a crime.
Police responded to the residence in the 1800 block of East Spring Street around 3:30 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports of a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The New Albany Police Department said an autopsy determined the injury was caused by another source and not gunfire.
“We feel confident Mr. Logsdon was not the victim of a crime,” New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey said in a statement. "We offer Mr Logsdon’s family our continued thoughts and support as they deal with this difficult time investigators are working hard to uncover the facts of this case."
