LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man was shot and injured in Louisville’s Park DuValle neighborhood.
Metro Police officers responded to the 1600 block of South 28th Street around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
There, officers said a man was suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers helped the victim until EMS arrived.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for further treatment and his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Investigators say they are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
They do not have any suspects.
