LMPD: Man injured, shot multiple times in Jacobs neighborhood

Police said officers were called to 3600 Georgetown Place around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A shooting in the Jacobs neighborhood has left a man injured on Sunday, according to Metro Police.

Officers responded to the 3600 block of Georgetown Place around 1:30 p.m.

Few details of what may have led up to the shooting have been released, but police said the victim had multiple gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police do not have any suspects.
