LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Kentucky man will spend four months in prison for helping fugitive Eric Conn leave the country after Conn's guilty plea in a $500 million social security fraud scheme.
A federal judge handed down that sentence for Curtis Wyatt.
Prosecutors say Wyatt opened the bank account Conn used to transfer money.
Wyatt also tested security at the Mexican border and bought a pickup truck for Conn.
Conn had been home confinement last June when he cut off his ankle monitor.
Police captured Conn in December as he left a Pizza Hut in Honduras.
