LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in the hospital after a shooting that happened in the Russell neighborhood late on Friday.
Louisville Metro Police said officers responded to call of a shooting in the 500 block of South 18th Street around 8:00 p.m.
When officers arrived, investigators said they found a man who had been shot in his chest.
The man arrived at the hospital with life-threatening injuries, so the Homicide Unit will be handling the investigation according to authorities.
There are no known suspect(s).
