LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man was shot and killed in a roller skating rink parking lot in Louisville early Monday morning.
Louisville Metro police responded to Robben's Roost, located at 5906 Six Mile Lane, at midnight. According to a police department news release, officers located a man in his early 20s suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Officers rendered aid, however the man was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The LMPD homicide unit is investigating. Police say a "crowd" of people was present at the time of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD.
No arrests have been made as of Monday morning. Police have not released the identity of the victim.
