Louisville police investigating after man found shot in Fern Creek

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man was found shot Friday morning in Louisville's Fern Creek neighborhood.

At about 11:30 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 5300 block of Pavilion Way, according to an LMPD news release.

Officers on scene found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported the victim to UofL Hospital where officials say they expect him to survive.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is leading this investigation. There are no known suspects at this time.
