LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man showed up at a Louisville hospital suffering from a gunshot wound Wednesday morning.
At about 2:15 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to St. Mary's Hospital on report of a man with a single gunshot wound, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene discovered that a man who had been shot arrived at the hospital by private means. Officials believe he will survive.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Squad is leading an investigation into this shooting. As of 7:45 a.m., investigators haven't yet discovered where the shooting took place.
