LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in the hospital after he was found in a car, suffering from a gunshot wound on Christmas morning.
At about 6:30 a.m., Louisville Metro Police responded to a shooting in the parking lot of a business in the 7200 block of Fegenbush Lane, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a man sitting inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound and rendered first aid until EMS could arrive.
Once on scene, EMS transported the man who was alert and conscious to UofL Hospital. Authorities believe he will survive.
Investigators believe the man was shot at another location and driven to the Highview business's parking lot where police found him.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit will be handling the investigation. There are currently no known suspects.
