LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Friday morning near Preston Highway.
At about 3:15 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 5500 block of Woodcross Place, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene shortly after he was found.
On Thursday, the Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the man as 33-year-old Lajuante Lane.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating. There are currently no suspects.
