LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after a fatal shooting Sunday evening in the parking lot of a White Castle in Louisville.
At about 11 p.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the parking lot of the White Castle at 7th and Algonquin Parkway, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found evidence of a shooting scene at that location, but located no victim. Investigators discovered the victim, an adult man, was transported by private means but stopped short before arriving at UofL Hospital. He was pronounced dead, authorities say.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation. There are currently no known suspects.
