LMPD: Man found shot in PRP neighborhood

Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound Wednesday night.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in the hospital after he was shot Wednesday night in Louisville's Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood.

At about 11 p.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 6900 block of Brooklawn Drive, according to an LMPD news release.

Officers on scene found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to UofL Hospital where officials say they expect him to survive.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling this investigation. There are no known suspects.
