LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is recovering after he was shot early Thursday morning in the Russell neighborhood.
At about 12:30 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 1800 block of West Jefferson Street, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a man who had been shot in the foot. He was taken to UofL Hospital where authorities say they believe he will survive.
The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating. There are currently no known suspects.
