LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man walked into a Louisville hospital on Wednesday night with a gunshot wound.
At about 9:30 p.m., Louisville Metro Police responded to Mary & Elizabeth Hospital regarding a walk-in gunshot wound victim, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers at the hospital found a man who had been shot in the leg was driven to the hospital by someone else. Officials believe he will survive.
The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating this shooting. As of Wednesday night, officials said they don't know where the shooting took place and there are currently no suspects.
