LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in the hospital after he was shot Thursday morning in Louisville's Smoketown neighborhood.
At about 1 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 700 block of East Jacob Street, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to UofL Hospital where officials say they expect him to survive.
The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating. Authorities say all parties are accounted for.
