LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in the hospital after officers found him shot Thursday morning in the Smoketown neighborhood.
At about 5 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 900 block of South Preston Street, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a man who had been shot. Authorities say he was conscious and alert when he was taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to survive.
The LMPD Non Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating this case.
