LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound Sunday night in west Louisville.
At about 10:30 p.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 2500 block of West Main Street, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers couldn't find a victim at the location. Approximately 20 minutes later, officers found a man who had been shot in the 300 block of North 24th Street.
Investigators believe the man was shot in the vicinity of the original location, several blocks from where he was found.
The man was transported to UofL Hospital where officials say they expect him to survive.
LMPD's First Division is handling this case. No information about a possible suspect has been released by police.
