LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound in downtown Louisville early Monday morning.
At about 12:45 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to UofL Hospital after medical staff reported a shooting, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a man, believed to be in his 20s, who had been shot in the arm. Officials say he arrived at the hospital by private means.
As of 1:45 a.m. on Monday, officers haven't yet located a scene for the shooting.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call LMPD's anonymous tip line at (502) 574-LMPD or utilize LMPD's Crime Tip Portal online.
