LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two people are injured after they were shot Tuesday in the Shawnee neighborhood.
At about 11:45 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 300 block of South 42nd Street, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. EMS transported the victims to UofL Hospital where officials say they expect them to survive.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the investigation. Police say they currently don't have specific suspect information to share at this point.
