LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville police are searching for a hit-and-run driver after a man was struck and killed by a car Thursday morning in Hikes Point.
At about 7:30 a.m., LMPD responded to a call of a "person down" on McMahon Boulevard at Taylorsville Road, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a man who appeared to have been hit by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver did not stay at the scene. Both the driver and vehicle are unknown at this time.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is handling the investigating.
