LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A person was found shot Thursday evening in the Russell neighborhood.
At about 10 p.m. Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 900 block of Read Alley, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a male shooting victim of unknown age suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers performed first aid until EMS could arrive on scene.
Once on scene, EMS transported the victim to UofL Hospital, where authorities say he is expected to survive.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating. Officials say there is no suspect information to release at this time.
