SHIVELY, Ky. — Shively Police are investigating two shooting incidents that left five people injured Sunday.
The first incident happened around 11:30 a.m. after police received reports of a shooting in the 3000 block of Garey Lane regarding neighbor dispute over loud music.
Police said two men in their 20’s used rifles to shoot three other men outside of a home. The victims were injured, and police said they returned fire at the suspects.
A few hours later, officers responded to another scene on Model Road.
Police said about two or three cars with five or more suspects pulled up and opened fire on two males standing in a front yard. The two victims were struck but returned fire.
It’s unclear if any of the victims in the vehicles received injuries.
The injuries of the victims in both incidents were non-life threatening.
Shively Police said because the incidents were near each other, they don’t have any information that would link them together.
If you have any information in either incident, you are asked to call the crime tip line at (502) 930-2SPD (2773).
