LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police is investigating a fatal shooting that happened in the Jacobs neighborhood Friday afternoon.
Police said officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 3700 block of Craig Avenue around 7:40 p.m.
When they arrived, LMPD said investigators found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died at the scene.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation according to authorities.
