Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A suspect has been arrested for the Chase Bank robbery that took place on October 3.
Michael Jason Stout, 33, is being held in the Clark County Jail after police said he robbed the Chase Bank on E. 10th Street in Jeffersonville.
According to police reports, the suspect entered the bank wearing a floppy sun hat, artificial hair and a surgical mask and handed the teller a note in order to obtain an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said the suspect then fled on foot to a wooded area within 2 blocks from the bank. An officer holding the perimeter of the scene arrested the suspect while waiting on a K9 assistance.
According to records, the suspect was arrested with a gun and the exact amount of money the bank reported stolen.
Police received the call about the robbery at approximately 11:07 a.m. and arrested the suspect at 11:44 a.m.
