RADCLIFF, Ky. — A suspect was arrested after police found a man shot to death in a parking lot early Wednesday morning.
Around 4:30 a.m., Radcliff Police Department responded to a shooting in the 600 block of Knox Boulevard, according to a post on Facebook.
Officers on scene found a man that was dead in the parking lot.
Police said the crime scene was "secured" and the investigation started. Over the next hour and a half, detectives processed the scene and collected evidence, while officers patrolled the area in search of the suspect who had fled from the scene.
Just before 6 a.m., the suspect, 23-year-old Nicholas Vandgrift, was found and arrested without incident.
He was charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence and assault.
Vandgrift was interviewed and is currently booked at the Hardin County Detention Center.
