Coroner identifies 20-year-old killed in Shively shooting

Shively Police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds Tuesday night. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

SHIVELY, Ky. — Shively Police is investigating after a man was shot and killed Tuesday night.

At about 11:40 p.m., Shively Police Department responded to a shooting in the 3100 block of Clinton Place, according to a Shively Police news release.

Officers on scene found a man, later identified as Jibril Tariq Liles, 20, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There are currently no suspects. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Shively Police tip line at (502) 930-2SPD.
