LMPD: 1 dead, 2 injured in late-night shooting in Park Hill neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Police Department is investigating a Saturday late-night shooting that killed one man and injured two others in the Park Hill neighborhood. 

Police were dispatched to a report of a ShotSpotter in the 3500 block of Woodland Avenue.

When police arrived on the scene, investigators said they found a man who had been shot. 

The man died at the scene authorities said. 

The release says two men arrived at the hospital by private means with gunshot wounds. Both men were alert and conscious. 

Officials say during the investigation, it was learned that both men were also at Woodland Ave. 

Police are working to determine the relationship between the victims and the motive of the shooting. 

There are no known suspect(s). 

LMPD’s Homicide Unit will be handling the investigation.
