LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Metro Police said a man and woman were injured after being shot in the Russell neighborhood.
Investigators said the shooting happened in the 1000 block of Magazine Street around 6 a.m. Sunday.
A woman was found at the scene by officers with a graze wound stemming from a gunshot. She was treated at the scene and was taken to the hospital.
As the investigation developed, LMPD said they were notified by UofL Hospital staff that a man arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound. He was alert and conscious and believed he was at the Magazine Street scene.
The injuries to both the man and woman are non-life threatening.
Police have not revealed the relationship between the two, if any.
