Shooting outside bar in Russell neighborhood leaves 1 dead, another injured: LMPD

Police are investigating what led up to a fatal shooting in the parking lot of Club Cedar on South 26th Street.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A double shooting outside of a nightclub in the Russell neighborhood has left one person dead and another injured.

Metro Police responded to the parking lot of Club Cedar in the 400 block of South 26th Street around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Two men were found at the location with gunshot wounds.

One of the men were pronounced dead at the scene while another was taken to UofL Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. Their condition is unknown.

Police said they do not have any suspects in this incident.
