Person shows up at Louisville hospital after shooting in Valley Station

The victim showed up at Southwest Hospital with a gunshot wound Tuesday morning.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A person is in the hospital after they were shot Tuesday morning in Valley Station.

At about 8:30 a.m., Louisville Metro Police responded to a shooting in the 5300 block of Euclid Avenue, according to an LMPD news release.

A person showed up by personal means at Southwest Hospital with as gunshot wound. Officials say they expect the victim to survive.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is currently investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call (502) 574-LMPD.
