LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A southern Indiana man was arrested recently following a child pornography investigation.

A cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to the Oct. 5 arrest of David White, 32, of New Albany. He is facing two counts of child exploitation and three counts of possession of child pornography.

All charges are felonies.

The Indiana State Police - Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force in Sellersburg opened an investigation in June after receiving a tip that a specific account was possibly used to transmit child porn images or video files. A search warrant was granted for a residence on Spring Street in New Albany and for White.

All information was submitted to the Floyd County Prosecutor's Office. Officers arrested White Oct. 5 without incident.

White is being held at the Floyd County Jail.
