CLARK COUNTY, Indiana — A southern Indiana man was found in Florida and arrested for sex crimes against children.
25-year-old Michael Carter was charged with more than 60 counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, child exploitation and possession of child pornography.
Clark County Detective Sergeant Brandi Scott obtained a warrant for Carter's arrest on Wednesday morning. Investigators used Flock cameras to determine he was in Riviera Beach, Florida.
Clark County Sheriff's Office and Riviera Beach Police Department worked together to track down Carter. On Thursday morning, Rivera Beach Police and law enforcement from the U.S. Marshals Task Force apprehended him.
Carter is currently in custody at Palm Beach County Jail where he is awaiting extraction to Indiana.
