LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A parent has filed a lawsuit Tuesday on behalf of their daughter after she was allegedly a victim of inappropriate communication from her math teacher at Clarksville Middle School.

Connor Page is accused of using official and personal accounts to communicate with the student and manipulate her into sending inappropriate pictures and recordings of herself from October 2023 to April 30, 2024.

The attorney for the family, Karl Truman, called it "appalling."

“It is appalling that someone entrusted with the care of children would engage in such predatory and illegal conduct,” he said. “What is even more troubling is the complete failure of school leadership to take decisive action that could have prevented these disgusting acts.”

The lawsuit also names Principal Nikki Bullington and counselor Becky Bilsland; they're accused of failing to report the alleged abuse to the superintendent and law enforcement.

The lawsuit argues if Bullington and Bilsland had reported what was happening, the pictures and video of the student and messages from Page would have been prevented.

“The public needs to know that if Bullington and Bilsland had done their jobs, this nightmare could have been avoided,” Truman said. “We are calling on anyone with information about Connor Page’s conduct to contact law enforcement and our office immediately. Your courage could help ensure justice and prevent further harm.”

The Clarksville Community School Corporation is also accused of negligence in the lawsuit.

In a statement from the district to WHAS11 News, they said "this is the first the district is hearing of this."

"As such have not had time to review details," the district said. "However, if this is a legitimate pending lawsuit, we will not be able to accommodate any requests for statements."

If you or someone you know may have been a victim, you are encouraged to call law enforcement or the Karl Truman Law Office at (812) 282-8500.
