LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in the hospital after being shot in Louisville on Monday.
Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) said they were called to the Circle K on St. Andrews Church Road around 3:20 p.m.
When they arrived, police said they found a man inside of a vehicle, who was suffering from a gunshot wound.
EMS transported the victim to the hospital where he is expected to survive investigators said.
Police are investigating where the shooting happened, and what led up to the shooting.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
