LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – There are questions about whether a suspect in the Derby night murder is responsible for another murder, the August 2014 murder of Devonne King.
Documents refer to Abu-Diab as a known drug trafficker who was involved with King. Also in those papers, a lawyer for one of the men charged in the case claims that in February a shooting in which Abu-Diab killed 18-year-old Anthony Smith, near Shively, was ruled a justifiable homicide.
He is charged with Saturday's murder of Scott Hunter. He was in town from Canada for the Derby.
