LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A teenage girl was taken to a Louisville hospital Monday night suffering from a gunshot wound.
At about 8 p.m., Louisville Metro police responded to Norton Children's Hospital after a teen girl who had been shot was brought in by private means, according to an LMPD news release.
Police officials say the victim was alert and conscious when she was brought into the hospital. It is unclear how severe her injuries are.
Detectives have not yet located a shooting scene associated with the gunshot wound victim and there are currently no suspects.
