BULLITT COUNTY, Ky. — A Bullitt County mom intends to plead guilty to fatally shooting her two sons last November.
In court Monday, Tiffanie Lucas' attorney asked the judge for a status hearing on Thursday, which the judge agreed to.
Bullitt County Commonwealth's Attorney Bailey Taylor said Lucas is expected to plead guilty at that hearing. There is no plea deal, he said. The judge will sentence her at a later date.
Lucas previously pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder in the deaths of her sons, 6-year-old Maurice and 9-year-old Jayden. She has been held in custody on a $2 million bond.
Her murder trial was expected to begin in December.
