Coroner ID's pregnant woman, man LMPD found shot in a car

Officers found a man and a woman inside a car suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital where they all died.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville police are investigating after a pregnant woman and man were found shot inside a car Wednesday night in the Park Hill neighborhood. They died in the hospital from their injuries.

The coroner's office identified the woman as 23-year-old Da'Vionna Sloane and the man as 23-year-old Louis House.

At about 11 p.m., Louisville Metro Police were investigating a report of a shooting when officers found Sloane and House suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle in the 1700 block of St. Louis Avenue, according to an LMPD news release.

Both were transported to UofL Hospital where both died from their injuries, authorities said.

The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating. There are currently no known suspects.
