2 men injured in Old Louisville double shooting

Police said they are investigating after two men were shot at 4th and St. Catherine Monday evening.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Editor's note: Previously, Louisville Metro Police said one of the victim's was a woman. In a later update, they said it was actually two men that had been shot.

Metro Police are investigating a shooting in Old Louisville that left two people injured Monday.

Police said the shooting happened in the area South 4th and St. Catherine around 6 p.m.

Officers found two men at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. They began giving aid to both victims until EMS and Fire arrived.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital for treatment. They were both alert and conscious with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

LMPD are working to learn details as to what led up to the shooting and a possible motive.

However, they do not have any suspects.
