LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville man has been charged after a weekend deadly shooting in the Russell neighborhood.
Adrian Burdette has been charged with murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Police said Burdette is responsible for shooting and killing a man in the 1000 block of Esquire Alley around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. LMPD’s original reporting listed the 1000 block of West Broadway where the incident took place.
On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 38-year-old Antwan Morris.
Burdette was taken into custody on Tuesday by the Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit.
He is currently being held at Metro Corrections on a $500,000 cash bond.
The shooting victim has not yet been identified.
