ANDERSON Co. -- Kentucky State Police report they have heard from the woman wanted for questioning in the Anderson County shooting death of Steven E. Brisco.
Leslie M. Luttrell reportedly contacted Nelson County 911 on Sunday after she escaped from her husband, Gary L. Luttrell.
She was found unharmed in the Shepherdsville area and was taken to Frankfort, where she was interviewed by detectives. She is now said to be safe and at an undisclosed location.
Gary Luttrell is considered a suspect in Brisco's shooting in Lawrenceburg and is also considered armed and dangerous. KSP also confirms he has a criminal past.
He is believed to be driving a black 2000 Chevy Cavalier with a faded hood. The license plate is 372DAP.
'If he's not in it, we may be able to get some information out of it.' said Kendra Wilson, KSP.
