LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A woman was shot and killed late Sunday night in Valley Station.
Louisville Metro police Third Division officers were called to the 6300 block of Sydney Renee Way just before 11 p.m. to check on the well-being of a resident. Officers discovered the body of an adult female.
On Monday, she was identified by the coroner's office as 21-year-old Kylee Miller.
A preliminary investigation concluded the woman was shot, according to an LMPD news release. The department's homicide unit is leading the investigation.
Foul play is suspected, according to police.
