LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A woman is in the hospital after she was shot on Monday in Louisville's California neighborhood.
At about 12:45 a.m., Louisville Metro Police responded to a shooting on Dixie Highway at Gallagher Street, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to UofL Hospital. Officials say they expect her to survive.
The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating. There are currently no known suspects.
