LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police is investigating after a woman ran into an apartment with several gunshot wounds late Tuesday night.
According to police, officers were called to the 100 block of East College Street on reports of a shooting around 10:50 p.m. That's in the Old Louisville neighborhood.
Then a woman suffering from several gunshot wounds fled into the lobby of the York Towers Apartments on York Street police said.
That's near Spalding University.
Louisville Metro EMS transported her to the hospital where authorities said she is expected to survive.
Officers did find a possible scene on East College Street LMPD said.
LMPD added the Non-Fatal Shooting Squad will be investigating.
