LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Parents at 44 schools within Jefferson County Public Schools are eligible to sign up for the stipend program officials announced on Wednesday.
Those schools are within Groups 1 and 2. Parents within Group 3 can sign up for the program starting Sept. 18.
Those stipend applications must complete the sign-up progress by Oct. 8 so they can receive payments for August, September and October JCPS officials said.

They added August and September attendance days will be paid in October; October and November attendance days will be paid in December; December, January and February attendance days will be paid in March; and March, April and May attendance days will be paid in June.
If you miss the Oct. 8 deadline, you won't be retroactively paid for previous months they warned.
Only one parent can sign up per eligible student, and if the stipend is getting split, JCPS officials asked that families work out that process together.
