JCPS employees to receive 5% salary raises over two years

The new raises will be split into 2% and 3% raises over the course of the next two years.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Jefferson County Public Schools Board approved a 5% raise for both full and part-time employees during a meeting Tuesday night.

The new raises will be split into 2% and 3% raises over the course of the next two years.

JCPS employees can expect the first pay bump to take effect July 1, 2024. The next will go into effect during the 2025-2026 fiscal year.

According to JCPS officials, these raises will mean employees will see a 14% increase from last year to 2026.
