LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Corrie Shull has been elected the new chairperson of the Jefferson County Public School Board.
Shull was appointed to the post after a 4-2 vote during the board’s first meeting of the new year on Tuesday.
He represents District 6 and had been serving as acting chair since the sudden retirement of former board member and chair Diane Porter in late October.
Shull was elected to the board in 2018.
The JCPS Board also voted in District 3’s James Craig to serve as vice chair.
