LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – An NBA All-Star returned to Louisville to help a local school make a big announcement.
Rajon Rondo made an appearance at the Academy at Shawnee as the school officially opened their new library.
Rondo helped make "The Book Bungalow" a reality with help from his foundation.
Rondo said he almost flunked out of high school his freshman year but thanks to support and positive influences and people giving back to his community, he prioritized education and eventually became an All-Academic SEC player in college.
