NELSON COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) - An employee of Brooks Houck, the ex-boyfriend of missing Bardstown woman Crystal Rogers and suspect in her disappearance, has been indicted on several charges of perjury according to the Nelson County Sheriff's Department.
The Nelson County Sheriff's Office said the charges Singleton faces is connected to Rogers' disappearance.
The Nelson County Grand Jury handed down 38 counts of Perjury in the First Degree against Danny L. Singleton Monday evening.
The information came in the form of a Facebook post published by the Nelson County Sheriff's Department.
The statement did not mention in what capacity Singleton served as an employee for Houck.
Houck has been thrust into the center of an investigation of the whereabouts of Crystal Rogers, a Bardstown woman who went missing on the Fourth of July weekend.
In October, authorities said they believed Rogers to be dead and considered Houck to be the main suspect in their investigation.
Singleton is currently lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
